Hello, and welcome!
I’m very happy to be here today and to share this blog post with you. I know it has been a while, and I am truly appreciative to be here writing again. As I think about the future and the limitless possibilities of it all, I’d like to dip back into the past, all the way back to April of 2011, when I became a part of the group of fantastic fiction writers known as the Waterworld Mermaids. I’m so proud to say that seven years later we are still going strong! What a great group of individuals. Truly. Alethea, Dana, Denny, Kerri, Kim, Masha, Pintip and Susan have been such genuine anchors and uplifters, not only for me but for so many in the writing and reading communities. It was such a pleasure and honor to get to assemble and narrate this piece for them this week. As I dip my toes back into the “Carlene Love” blogging waters, I’d love to share it with you here as well. Please enjoy this short, sweet and fun video message from my fishy sisters and me…
And as a thank you for stopping by and sharing a comment over at the Waterworld Mermaids post, we are giving away a bundle of charming, wonderful books (which includes eBooks and paperback) to one lucky, randomly drawn reader. The prize giveaway will stay open to entries until this Sunday evening, February 18th. Just click HERE to make your way to that post. Good luck!
I’d love to hear from you right here, too. Who are your anchors and uplifters? What cool things have crossed your paths this month? Please feel free to share.
Have a wonderful February, thank you for stopping by, and I’ll see you next month. π
Always love,

My Anchor and UPlifter for the past few months has been none other than Carlene Love Mermaid! Thank you for sticking with me and not shying away from all the hard times!
β€ That is what family does β€ Something Grandma Grace told me growing up was never to let fear keep you from doing what is right. Hard times can understandably cause people to retreat and pull away. I hope more and more people have the chance and the awareness to go towards the ones they love when needed. Love you and thank you too! xoxo
The Olympics always uplift & inspire me from opening night on. Family anchors us & your capacity for love, kindness & strength amaze me always.
Oh I love this! Yes, the Olympics are a wonderful space in time to find that inspiration in our own lives. Do you also find yourself starting out sitting on the couch watching but as the minutes pass and the competition escalates, you’re brought to your feet whether it’s to cheer on the athletes or to mimic their movements? I do that during figure skating with the flowy arms and getting up on tiptoes. And with the snowboarding and skiing, it’s sort of a jumping up repeatedly type motion. Hahaha, but what a fun way to be called to action. #ConnectedPassion Love you, Thank you β€
