St. Patrick’s Day Blog Hop! #Giveaway

Inner Goddess

Hola friends!

Carlene here. Welcome to the St. Patrick’s Day Blog Hop organized by the lovely ladies of Inner Goddess! I’m so excited to be spending my first St. Patrick’s Day living back home in San Diego in a very long time. Here in Southern Cali, we love our Irish brothers and sisters and the chance to celebrate this time a year just as much as the next person. But what I love most is how we mix that with our local Hispanic and military roots. One of my favorite places to do this is at local gem, Balboa Park. Nestled inside this iconic park are a village of cottages, including the House of Ireland, where you can go on St. Patrick’s Day to enjoy music, dance, traditional costumes, arts, crafts, and ethnic foods. The park is one of the most romantic spots I’ve ever seen and as a romance writer, that does my heart so very good.

Sidewalk-Flower1MI have yet to set one of my stories in the Park but living back here now, and visiting as often as I do, it may just be a matter of time! So now I’d love to hear from you! Please share the lovely details on one of your most romantic, favorite spots where you live. At the end of the hop, I’ll choose one random winner to win my blog’s prize of a copy of my book, Sidewalk Flower, starring the sweet yet sexy country boy Lucky Mason, and a $10 Amazon Gift Card.

Don’t forget to enter the hop’s Grand Prize a Rafflecopter giveaway!

Good luck and Happy Saint Patrick’s Day! Now off you go to keep hoppin’! Click here to get to the next stop!

Always love,

Carlene Love♥

  1. There is a lovely venue for a wedding. My daughter was married there on a bridge with fountains and beautiful flowers.

  2. Sorry part of message didn’t save. The most romantic spot my husband and I used to sneak away to is a pond near us wit a fountain and a big Oak Tree along side it. We would go to it and have picnic lunches under it.

    • Hi Mary! Thank you so much! Lucky is such a wonderful hero. Sigh. Your picnic sounds so beautiful and special. I can tell it holds a very special place in your heart. Good luck in the hop!

  3. I’m in LA so I have to go with either sunset at Malibu or spending the day at Griffith Observatory. For SD while I love Balboa Park, Old Town is my favorite romantic place.

    • Hi Shannon! Oh, I’ve always wanted to visit the Griffith Observatory. I can only imagine how beautiful it is. Old Town is a close second for me too! I don’t know if you’ve been lately, but they’ve restored it back to how it was about ten years ago and it’s absolutely wonderful! Southern Cali-styled cheers to you! Good luck in the hop, xoxox.

  4. Hey Carlene! =) In my city I like to go down to Battleship Cove & sit in the park & watch the sunset by the water. And yes we do have a battleship docked there, the USS Massachusetts. =)

Take care & I hope you have a fabulous weekend! ❤

  5. There’s a secluded beach about 5 miles from my house that is surrounded by woods and has a great view of the lake without anyone being able to see you it’s my favorite place to go for a quiet picnic. Thank you for the chance!

  6. Hi everyone! Thank you to each of you for taking the time to share your most romantic places. I loved hearing it all. You guys rock! I’m happy to announce that Melissa Ogletree was the winner of my blog’s prize. Congrats, lady!!
