Cover Reveal … Stay for Me!

For the record, I nearly start every blog post I write with “Howdy Folks!” No idea why this is. I’m a born and raised Southern California girl tried and true except for a decade or so spent in Vegas.  Does anyone else who’s not from the country talk like they should be? Hmm, maybe it’s just something I’ve picked up from moving around the country with the Army (Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, Virginia, Arizona). Any fellow military brats out there? Or maybe, it’s all that time I spent watching the adorable Jaymes Vaughan on You Tube in research for my latest book. He’s got the best country accent. Who knows? Whatever it is, I want to welcome you all because guess what?

It’s nearing one in the morning and I just realized, I didn’t give us a proper cover reveal for my upcoming release!!!

So folks, without further ado, I give you the beautiful cover for Stay for Me, which comes out on February 16th. Only 9 more days!! And a huge thank you to Jay Aheer whose artwork leaves me breathless. Enjoy and please feel free to tell me what you think!

Blurb:

One night to finally make it right before it all gets torn apart…

Two years ago, best friends Emma Chester and Sam Jason tried being intimate. Due to Sam’s massive size, it didn’t work. Emma was hurt. Embarrassed, they did their best to move on. Now the day has come when Emma must suspend Sam as a dancer at the club they work at, awakening the buried pain of that one night.

Sam has seen this day coming but is shocked when Emma asks him to strip for her just once before he leaves the club. Allowing himself to feel for her again is too dangerous but she’s clearly not in her right mind and needs him.

Can he maintain his restraint and help her?

When she hands him his uniform to strip out of, is she handing him her heart? Or is it too tattered to ever belong to him again?

Always love,

Carlene Love♥

  1. I can very clearly hear your Grandpa Barney sayin’, “Well, howdy there youngun’s.” Plus, Aunt Johnie, Uncle Leon both had a little of Granny’s Mississippi accent, you probably tucked it away in the back of your mind somewhere only to come out when appropriate 🙂
