Welcome Elyzabeth M. VaLey! Bear Heart #NewRelease

It’s Monday. And we all know what a beast this day of the week can sometimes be. Which is why I’ve brought one of the cutest, sweetest authors I could think of to melt away those grumpy tendencies and make you feel all warm and fuzzy. Okay, that might be laying it on a bit thick, but I’ve just recently read Elyzabeth M. VaLey’s Bear Heart and while it’s definitely heartbreaking, poor Simon, it’s got a classic happily ever after. I truly enjoyed this story and the time I got to spend lost in the fantasy. Now let’s see what Elyzabeth has prepared for us. (She really is adorable.)…

Greetings everyone! I’m thrilled to be visiting Carlene today with my latest release, Bear Heart.

Carlene asked me to write a ten things post about the hero, Simon and I thought that it´d be great to work together with Simon to come up with those things. It wasn’t such a great idea. Simon could only come up with things like, I have a beard, I have long hair, my eyes are brown, I’m a shape-shifter…

Seeing as I was frustrated, Margaret offered to help me out. Soon, Soussanna and Morgana also pitched in and together, between laughter and tears, we’ve come up with this list of ten things you should know about Simon Lancaster:

  1. He’s a shifter, yes, but he’s also human. He will think over things a thousand times.

  1. His heart is in the right place. He might have done some wrong in his life, but haven´t we all?

  1. He doesn’t believe he deserves happiness and he struggles with the idea of a second chance.

  1. He has quiet strength. Simon is not a talker. Instead, he carries his heavy load in his soul.

  1. He fights for what he believes in and will lay his life in the line for those he loves.

  1. He will deny it, but he holds an inkling of hope that things will turn out all right.
  2. He’s a gentleman.

  1. His courting skills need some work.

  1. He is tender and caring and…
  2. His lovemaking is quite passionate.

So there you have it! Ten things about Simon. Thank you for having us, Carlene!

By day a bear, by night a man.

Half a century ago Simon Lancaster loved a woman. But when he committed a crime and was seduced by a witch his fate was sealed. Forced to live as a shifter by day and human by night, he becomes hopeless.

He believes there is nothing left in life for him. That is, until he meets Margaret O’Hare. An unconventional woman, Margaret makes him feel whole again, but he doesn’t know if he can allow the walls he has erected around his heart to lower, no matter how much he grows to care for her.

As their time together has them becoming closer, he starts to trust and love again. But a happily ever after might not be in Simon’s future as dark shadows emerge to destroy what he has built with Margaret.

Author Bio:

Defined as weird since she was about eight, Elyzabeth honors the title by making up songs about her chores, doodling stars and flowers on any blank sheet of paper and talking to her dog whenever he feigns interest.

Losing the battle to the voices in her head is her favorite pastime after annoying her younger sister with her singing. Writing stories full of passion and emotion where love conquers all is her happy pill and she’ll forgo sleep to make her readers live the dream.

That was perfect, Elyzabeth! You and your ladies definitely know your Simon Bear. I loved him so! Thank you for visiting. Promise you’ll come back again some day soon…

Until then…

Always love,

Carlene Love♥
