Christmas in July Giveaway! Take that sweltering Mr. Heat!

I spent fourteen years of my childhood in the desert of Las Vegas, Nevada.  I know a thing or two about the heat.  And yes, you really can fry an egg on the asphalt when it’s 130 degrees outside.  But I’m all grown up now and living on the east coast and I’ve decided I don’t want to play in this triple digit, sticky heat not one more day this month.   Are you with me?  Good!  Since my new release, Sin’s Flower, is set at Christmas time, let’s give old Mr. Heat the boot and celebrate with a Christmas in July giveaway, shall we?

Christmas

The prize pack includes:

Your choice of either a print or e-copy of the first book in my Sin Pointe Novel series, Sidewalk Flower

An e-copy of Sin’s Flower, the second book in the Sin Pointe Novel series

A book charm keychain of Sin’s Flower

A lovely, flower-print tote, handmade by my amazing Aunt Terry (She answers all my Trista & Lily sewing questions for the Sin Pointe Novels. Check out her store here.)

A “Pink” bath bomb made by Lush–Jaxon’s personal favorite 😉

  1. See? Vegas’ dry heat is way better! Except wet heat is better for your skin (less wrinkles I’m told)! 😉 You should be here in San Diego – it’s loverly! Saw En Vogue in concert with the SD Pops Symphony last night outside by the bay with fireworks during the encore, right next door to the Convention Ctr with ComicCon happening & attendees all over the place! Saw lots of great costumes & rode the trolley home full of very well behaved zombies! Trying to talk LL into going back tonight for the History channel’s Vikings party & concert in the Gaslamp! Wish you were here! 😉

  2. You really can fry an egg on the sidewalk?! Glad it’s not quite that hot around here, though I’m still looking wistfully at the snow picture. A book set at Christmas sounds like the perfect way to escape from the heat!

    • Hi Merry! Yes, you really can! The worst was when kids used to go around throwing the eggs at people’s cars during the summer and it would just bake under the sun. Fun Vegas times! Isn’t that a great snow pic? Good luck in the drawing and here’s to mild temperatures in both our areas!

  3. Congrats on the release of Sin’s Flower, Catherine 🙂
The heat finally broke up here in PA, now I have to wait for the allergies to leave me alone. Las Vegas is sounding better and better

    • Hi Mindy and welcome to my place 🙂 Thank you very much. I think we’re enjoying the same break in the heat, thank goodness! Yes, I’ve always heard the desert is good for those who suffer from allergies and at night, Vegas was always beautiful with all the lights. Good luck in the drawing and thanks for stopping by 🙂

    • Hi Theresa 🙂 Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ve driven through a tiny corner of Kentucky and it was beautiful but I have to admit I wasn’t able to stop and visit. That heat and humidity isn’t much fun but it sure makes for pretty scenery. Good luck in the giveaway!

  4. Thank you so much to those who stopped by and visited and said hi this week, you all rock! And a big congratulations to Mindy (Mina Gerhart) whose name I just pulled out of the Lucky Cup! Please be on the lookout for an email from me about sending your prize. Thanks again everyone and be on the lookout for more to come from the boys of Sin Pointe. Love stories rock!
