Happy Spring & a Friday Freebie!

Hello Friends!Yellow love

Today marks the last day of a very different Spring Break than I’m used to.  Being from San Diego, CA, I mostly equate this week with hanging out at Mission Beach and checking out what cool things MTV crews are filming for their annual special.  Gosh, do they even still do that?  Anyhow, the SNOW STORM that hit the D.C. area on Monday came as a shock but you know what?  I will never diss a reason to stay home, snuggle, and catch up on Reading!

What did you all do this week in your corners of the world?  Was it a warm, flip flops and shorts one for you or did that blanket you should have folded and put away stay out the entire week like it did at my house?  I’d love to hear from you 🙂

And, I just received a very cool note from the lovely Kimberly Kincaid who was our most recent guest.  She was letting me know that her novella we spotlighted, Love on the Line, is currently free and will be for a few days.  If you enjoyed my interview with her and the excerpt, go on over and get it now!  Here’s the Amazon link:Love on the Line

Before I crawl back to that blanket I mentioned, I wanted to send out a huge THANK YOU to everyone supporting reading, writing, books, music, live shows, basically the arts in general.  They sure do make the Spring time snow a lot brighter.   Summer will be here sooner than we know it so for now I wish you all a HAPPY SPRING!  See you next week when I’ll post about the Evernight Book Boyfriend Blog Hop…it’s gonna be so much fun…Lucky and Trista helped me design a one of a kind Sidewalk Flower t-shirt that will be included in my prize 🙂Evernight Book Boyfriend Blog Hop

Always love,

Carlene Love ♥

  1. My Easter vacation in the 60’s and 70’s meant a daily drive to Scripps Torrey Pines Beach to get started on my summer tan. This year it’s just as sunny and warm here in San Diego as it was back then, but I don’t really have the time to lay around and enjoy it. I wouldn’t mind reliving that time period 🙂 I finished Love On The LIne, btw, and it was a very good story.

    • Hi Aunt Terry 🙂 Oh, I wish you had some downtime to enjoy Torrey Pines. That area is so pretty. Oh the warmth and sand and people out and about, I miss it and I miss you. Glad you enjoyed Kimberly’s novella and thank you so much for sharing your vacay memories!

      • Oh yeah, and at 16 I was the only one of my friends with a car, the one your mom and dad gave me, a 1954 Oldsmobile. It was cool! So I was never without someone to go tanning with.
