Friends, please help me give a warm Tuesday welcome to romance author, Evie Jayne!
Hi and thanks for having me to visit. I’m thrilled to be here.
I’m excited to be celebrating the release of my second full length PNR novel.
Scar Tissue is the second book in my Dominion Series and has been long in the making. I’m very proud to be presenting it.
A single black and white photo was the inspiration that finally broke through my writers block and got me restarted. I’d written several beginnings to Scar Tissue, none of which were working. The photo in question(which I’ve sadly lost) was of a woman holding a man against a rough brick wall. It got me thinking. Why does she need to be in control? Why does he voluntarily submit to her? And so the basis of my characters relationship was formed.
Read on and you’ll find the answers to these questions.
Caden James is a rare subspecies of vampire. That’s bad enough, but it’s only going to get worse. The 2nd maturation is almost upon him, when he will fall into the Dark Dominion. Unless he can find the female fated to save his soul.
Sounds simple, find her and stop his descent into horror.
Except with Parry O’Morrigan, nothing is simple.
Parry’s past has scarred her physically and psychologically, leaving her with a bone deep fear of vampires. Until she crosses the path of a fanged warrior who sets her blood on fire.
Thrown together, the pair track the creator of a new breed of zombie. As the hunt heats up, so does the passion between them. Can Parry overcome her past, or will she let the Dark take him?
Even if she can, Cade’s fate may yet destroy the only female he’s ever cared about. Continue Reading
Thank you so much for hosting me! I’m a fairly new author so I’m still in the process of getting my social media presence out there. I love to make friends on Facebook and can be found HERE.
I’m a huge fan of paranormal romance and while driving one day, coming back from visiting friends, I thought up a werewolf story title. One of my favorite television shows is Bitten on the SyFy channel and so I used that as inspiration of my character Tony Lykes. He’s an enforcer for his pack, which will do anything to protect their werewolf secret, but when his boyfriend Aaron shows up during a full moon meeting, things get a little dicey.
This is book one in my “My Boyfriend Is…” series. There is also My Vampire Boyfriend and My Alien Boyfriend, and I’m working on My Ghostly Boyfriend. On Sept. 11th I had my first fantasy MMM story release, Dark Rider.
Have a wonderful day!
You too, Elizabeth! That was a wonderful intro and I’m so happy to have you here on my blog! Friends, let’s see a little more about this hot new release with the absolutely gorgeous cover over there to the left. ;-) Continue Reading
It’s Friday! Woo-Hoo! I’m not sure what’s in the water over at my publisher, Evernight, but there have been a stream of really awesome free reads released the past month and today I’m bringing you another. My guest is the lovely Naomi Clark and her newest is a paranormal, urban fantasy romance called Phantom Fears. Not only is it a Free Read, which means you can download it right now HERE and start enjoying, but it’s an Editor’s Pick! I just got my copy. :) Wishing you all a great weekend and now let’s read more about Phantom Fears…
Hello everyone! Today I’m welcoming fellow Evernight author, Rebecca Brochu. Rebecca’s brought her newest erotic paranormal title and if you like shifters, men and romance, then The Beta’s Beloved might be your next favorite read. Before we share the hot excerpt, I wanted to find out about one of Rebecca’s favorite parts of her book. Let’s see what she has to say…
Carlene: My favorite part of a book is what the characters say to each other. What is your favorite exchange of dialogue in your book and why do you love it?
Rebecca: My favorite exchange of dialogue in the book would have to be the scene between Lachlan, Trace, and Drew. It was funny and engaging and a complete joy to write.
Carlene: Rebecca, I love when humor sucks you in and won’t let go. I can imagine writing a scene with the three boys would be a blast and even more fun to read! Thanks for sharing that tid bit with us. Now let’s share more of your latest…
A year after Declan Adair crashed into Carson territory and into the alpha Law’s heart things have finally settled down. Except for the fact that Trace Carson, Law’s brother and right hand wolf, is head over heels for the fiery but skittish Lachlan, Declan’s identical twin brother. The entire pack, including both of their brothers, knows how Trace feels about Lachlan. The only problem is that Lachlan seems completely oblivious to Trace’s interest.
Trace, in a final attempt to woo the elusive Lachlan, whisks him away to the northern reaches of the territory and a remote cabin deep in the heart of the forest. Trace hopes that he can convince Lachlan to give him the chance he needs to prove himself before someone else swoops in and takes his beloved away. Trace will do anything to prove to Lachlan that he can be the man and the wolf for him. Continue Reading
I’ve met so many wonderful people in this adventure of writing romance. So many talented and generous souls. My guest today is at the top of that list of writers who go out of their way to help their peers. It is my absolute pleasure to be hostessing Shannan Albright and bringing a snippet from her new release, Dark Hunter, to you. Enjoy!
AUTHOR BIO: Growing up I was called the dreamer of the family, something not always thought of as a positive thing. As a child, I would draw and build stories around my pictures, so writing was a natural extension for me. Recently a family member told me that from now on she would encourage those dreamers she knew. Stating “with hard work and focus dreams can come true. Shannan Albright is proof that dreaming can be a positive thing.”
When not writing I spend my time between oil painting and reading. I love writing paranormal, urban fantasy, historical and fantasy romances because of the world building and rich characters I feel a connection to. I’m drawn to dark, edgy heroes and heroines overcoming impossible odds internal and external. I’m a “hopeful” Romantic who believes a healthy relationship built on respect and a strong partnership is the key to a happy ever after.

Sometimes you see a cover and there’s just something about it that strikes you. I fell in love at first sight with Rebecca’s The Wolf’s Moon. I love the wolf, the moon, the trees and that’s one handsome hero. But I think it’s that special something in the eyes of the heroine, Silke. I cannot wait to read the story behind this intriguing cover. Please help me welcome the lovely and talented author, Rebecca Brochu, and her gorgeous book today! (Another awesome job by Sour Cherry Designs!)
