The things a mom will do when kiddo’s school is closed for three days in a row! (I’m counting Wednesday already because I just got the severe weather closing email from the school for tomorrow!) My eyes may be buggy and bloodshot, but I give to you the official (albeit homemade) book trailer for the Sin Pointe Novels. Enjoy!
Happy 2014 and welcome to the weekly segment, Monday Cute Meet. I’ve really enjoyed bringing this segment to you and appreciate your support of the wonderful guest authors and their books. In a romance novel, the “cute meet” is the first significant contact the hero and heroine have that sets them on their romantic journey and it’s one of my favorite story parts. Let’s see what today’s guest, contemporary romance author, Eileen Griffin, has to share from her latest, Dinner for Two, and her characters’ first meeting.
A big thank you to Carlene for hosting me on her blog today. I think my love of all things Italian had a major influence on my decision to make Tony, the male MC and head chef Italian and make the setting an Italian restaurant when I first began writing Dinner For Two. Tony Mancinni is the head chef of an Italian restaurant Sonia Davenport visits when she’s looking for the perfect place for her boss’ company dinner party. Tony rolls out the red carpet treatment for Sonia during their catering meetings for the upcoming party and Sonia quickly discovers that the restaurant is not the only thing she’s found that is perfect. I’m a firm believer that good food can make an evening enjoyable, and Tony and Sonia are brought together through their combined efforts to make a dish they create extra special in order to save the evening from disaster when a catering error threatens the entire dinner party.
You’re very welcome, Eileen. I’m happy to have you!
Happy 2014 and welcome to the first Monday Cute Meet of the New Year. I’ve really enjoyed bringing this segment to you each week and appreciate your support of the wonderful guest authors and their books. In a romance novel, the “cute meet” is the first significant contact the hero and heroine have that sets them on their romantic journey and it’s one of my favorite story parts. Let’s see what today’s guest, contemporary erotic romance author, S.J. Maylee, has to share from her latest, Untangle Me, and her characters’ first meeting.
For as long as I live, I may never be able to articulate how extremely blessed and thankful I am for my family, friends and readers–you all top the list. But today wouldn’t be as special if it weren’t for a certain tall, smart, wool-hat wearing sweetheart of a young man named Benny who waited patiently for me to come around to telling his story. You’ve read about him in Sidewalk Flower and Sin’s Flower. From the sweet notes I’ve received, you’re pretty enamored of him. And today I’m so happy to say, he’s officially yours! Welcome to the world, his story, Sin’s Haven! Happy Release Day Benny! And Happy Thanksgiving to you all. My warmest wishes to you and yours.
Look for Benny’s story, Sin’s Haven, available now through Evernight Publishing!

There is something extra thrilling about seeing an email from my publisher with the words “Cover Art” in the subject line. Last week when I woke up one morning to one of those very emails, I didn’t even allow myself to open it until after I’d gotten kiddo off to school and taken care of the morning doggy walk. That’s because I knew when I opened the image, I was going to want to spend every other second sitting down at the laptop to gaze and smile and gaze some more. My favorite thing about this wonderfully sexy Sour Cherry Designs cover is definitely the vibe going on between Benny and Hazel. As I think you’ll enjoy when you read the story, she’s a woman who’s willing to do what needs to be done and Benny, well, all I can say is he better hang on tight for the ride. Sin’s Haven (A Sin Pointe Novella, #3) releases on November 28th! Until then…
